I just thought I would share some of the information I have been learning about the area of finance. In particular, I am researching topics in personal finance as I am in the process of buying a few things in the next few months that will need financing (think mini-van and home) as well as we are in the market for some other financial products.
What I wanted to talk about here today is loans. Now, if you have ever applied for a loan, chances are most of you went into a bank or credit union to do that. Or maybe you applied for a car loan at a car dealership. I want to suggest to you a new tool that allows you to compare loans from different vendors and pick the one that you think is the best value for your dollar: the Internet.
I don’t know if you have ever tried shopping for a loan on the Internet, but it is perhaps one of the easiest tools to use out there. The best part is that you can scope out what the competition is offering and you are essentially presented multiple offers from companies who want your business.
Want to know how big of a personal loan you qualify for? Do you have five minutes? That is really how easy it is. You can sit at your computer when you choose, you don’t need to make an appointment, and you don’t need to be embarrassed about your credit history when you fill out an application for a secured personal loan.
In my next "lesson" I am going to talk about credit cards (I am sure a lot of you will like that
)
