I have always been a big superhero nut. Okay, that makes me sound like I am a bit of a geek, but hey, that is okay, right?
Anyway, I have been patiently waiting for Hancock to come out. It will be one of the better superhero movies of the summer (not including Batman: Dark Knight) starring Will Smith. Charlize Theron, and Jason Bateman.
From the trailers I have seen, it looks like it will be great - I guess I will have to wait a few more days before I can go see it - but you can count on me being one of the first in line.
I am a very social person. I love to get out and do things with my friends. The only problem is that my husband is not a social person at all. He would never leave the house if he didn’t have to. Whenever I suggest that we go out and do some shopping, he starts looking at online shopping deals. It is like pulling teeth getting him to go anywhere.
When I heard that one of the stores I frequent quite often was having some great LCD TV deals, I thought that he would jump at the chance. Even that did not get him moving very quickly and that surprised me, as I knew he had wanted an LCD TV for awhile.
He was still certain that he could find a better deal online and I pretty much just gave up that day. I will go on being the social person that I am and he will go on being antisocial like he is. I guess it works for us, and at least it gives me a break from the kids.
For most of my life, I have traveled around the world and seen many wondrous things. The best part of it is that there have not been any mishaps, and for that I am thankful.
But this year, something happened on a trip that I had not planned. You see, while on a trip to Mexico, I fell down and hit my mouth and knocked one of my teeth loose. Now, I don’t know about you, but I had never done that before and I was at a loss and didn’t know what to do. I needed a dentist, but I didn’t know of any in Mexico, and I didn’t know where to start.
But thankfully, I had my laptop with me and I did a search online for "Dentist Mexico" to find someone that could help fix my mouth. That one search led me to a dentist office that was willing to help me out and fix what I had done to myself.
If I had not had the Internet, I don’t know what I would have done. I guess I am just lucky that I was able to find someone to help, and from now on, I never travel without my laptop.
One of my biggest challenges when it came to dating was asking women out. I don’t know what my problem was, but I just couldn’t get around the whole idea of going out on a limb and asking a women if she wanted to date me. I guess I was just scared of being rejected, but the fact of the matter is that I was not going to be able to find a life partner.
That is when a good friend of mine suggested that I try to find local singles online. It was not only going to be easier, but it would make it so that the women would ask me out instead of me having to do it myself.
So, I signed up at as many free online dating sites that I could find, in hopes of finding that special girl. As it turns out, that is how I met my wife, and I have had a happy life ever since.
When I first started to trade on the stock market, I had no idea what I was doing. As a result, I lost most of what I had invested. This woke me up to the notion that I might not know everything, but I did have room to learn.
So, I decided that I would learn the same secrets that the masters use to trade stocks. I figured that by following a proven system that works, I would be able to get better returns (specifically positive ones) on my portfolio than I have been getting.
I picked up the book, Stock Split Secrets by Darlene Nelson, which is one of the best investing books on the market today. Reading through the first few chapters made me realize that I have been doing it all wrong, but by reading this book, I should be able to set things straight, and profit from the same secrets that the masters use.
For the last couple of years, I don’t know what was wrong with me. I was always very lethargic, and I didn’t have much energy. I couldn’t get much done, let alone hold down a full time job. It was to the point where even the doctors were stumped - but I didn’t want to concede that my life would have to be like this.
So, what I did was go to a homeopathic doctor to see what they thought. As it turns out, he told me that my body was full of toxins, and that it was affecting my energy levels - I needed to get rid of them and then I would be better.
He suggested that I try out using Zeolite, a substance that traps toxins for safe removal from the body. It didn’t take me long to decide that I would - worst case it wouldn’t do anything for me.
Now, almost a year later, I am a new man. I am full of energy and I feel better than I have in my whole life. It worked the way it was supposed to, and I feel better now, with no more toxins in my body. It is nice to have energy again.
When I was in high school, I was not at all sure what I wanted to do with my life. I thought that I might be an accountant, as I had always been good with numbers, but the more I thought about it, the more I didn’t like the thought of doing it for the rest of my life.
I knew that I needed to do something with finances and I went to talk to a guidance counselor about my options. She suggested that I take several finance courses during my first year of college and make my decision from there.
Never in a million years would I have thought that I would be spending my working years counseling people about debt consolidation loans. But, that is exactly what I am doing and I really do enjoy it. I feel like I am helping people who are hopeless and that makes the job worthwhile.
The first year that I had my puppy, Dancer, I spoiled him rotten. He had tons of toys, the best foods and I am sure that his dog bed was more comfortable than my own. I loved having someone to spoil and in turn, I loved the fact that I had a little dog that was completely loyal to me.
When my friend had to move to another state and found out that she could not take her dog with her, I did not hesitate to accept her dog as a part of our little family. The dogs got along very well and I was happy that Dancer had someone to play with while I was gone all day at work.
I have their little dog beds sitting on the floor at the end of my bed, but they are actually pretty useless, as both dogs usually end up in bed with me. That is quite alright though. They are my boys and I love them more than I would have ever imagined.
With the lackluster returns that my investment portfolio has been receiving lately, I have been looking to other investment vehicles where I can put my money. Though I have many different options, I am leaning towards investment real estate.
I figure that real estate is something that everyone needs, whether it be for lodging or for business, and statistically, it has done very well over the years. Couple that with the limited supply of land (they aren’t making any more, are they?), it is definitely an appealing investment.
I also like the fact that I have more control over a real estate investment compared to a stock. It can be improved, demolished, or changed with almost complete freedom.
So, I am going to take the steps toward becoming a landlord that I need to do - I think that it is the best use for my money that I can find.
Today I thought that I had everything together, but I guess I was wrong. You see, I was supposed to go to an appointment at a clients house, but I made the mistake of doing laundry.
You know what I mean, when you forget to empty your pockets and wash something that you just shouldn’t have washed. In my case, I washed the paper that had the address that I needed. It was no longer in any sort of readable condition, so I was in trouble.
Thankfully, I still had their phone number, so I decided to do a reverse phone lookup and get the address that way. I just went online, found a reverse phone number website, and put their number in. One click and I had the number.
I made it to my appointment just in time - thankfully I had an easy way to find the address.
