As the owner or a men’s clothing store, I feel it is my duty to be able to provide quality clothing at reasonable prices to as many people that walk in the door.  Sure, that isn’t always possible, but we do our best to cater to every customer.

We recently renovated the store and added a new section specializing in men’s suits and accessories.  It was a smart move on our part as now we were able to cater to both shoppers who are looking for casual wear as well as formal wear.  With the added lines of formal clothing, we also decided to carry additional accessories that would make excellent up sale items for our sales staff.

Some of the more popular items that we have added include designer cufflinks and engravable cufflinks.  We thought that we had everything covered but there been a number of requests for wedding cufflinks and we will be getting those as well.

It is great to see that the renovations have increased our revenues and allowed us to achieve our goals of catering to as many types of customers as possible.

I recently figured out that there are only really three steps to planning a vacation.  Now that might seem a little simplistic, but let me explain it to you and you’ll see what I mean.

The first step in the planning for cheap holidays (or expensive ones), is picking the destination.  For example, if you’re going to Icmeler Turkey, that’s it - you know where you’re going to go now.

The second step is arranging your accommodations, how you’re going to get there and how you’re going to get around while you are there.  Basically this step includes finding your lodging and transportation to and from the destination.  Continuing with our example, you might be looking for cheap flights to Turkey as well as a cheap hotel.

The third step is really not much of a step at all.  Simply put, step three is going on your vacation.  The first two steps to care of all the planning and step three allows you to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

I’ve received a lot of strange birthday presents my lifetime, but I would have to say the one I received this year was the weirdest.  Well maybe weird was in the right word, but the present I received wasn’t really the right thing to give me.

You see, my brother has been struggling with credit card debt for a long time now and he decided to buy me a book on how to reduce credit card debt.  Funny thing is I don’t even have a credit card!

Needless to say I did read the book in its entirety.  It was a very interesting read and I learned about poor credit debt consolidation loans as well as how to follow the many debt diet plans available.

I will take it as a sign that he bought this book so that I could help him out that I think we’ll go out for coffee next week to talk about it.

I have always been one that needed to find the best deal possible on whatever I do.  Whether that be getting a discount on a car purchase or getting cheaper concert tickets, I am driven to get a deal.

So when our family went down to Disney World, I didn’t want to have to pay full price for the Disney World tickets.  This is going to be especially important considering I wanted to visit at least a couple of the attractions and I knew that without a deal, I would have to buy new tickets for each one.

When I explained my situation at the ticket office, the clerk suggested that I could take advantage of Disney Hopper tickets-it was a simple add-on to the tickets I was going to buy that would allow me to visit as many attractions as I would like in one day at all I would have to do is buy tickets one time.

I figured that planning ahead for a trip to Las Vegas would give us the opportunity to find and take advantage of Las Vegas hotel promotions and keeps some money in my pocket.  Learning from my wife’s experience of working in hotels, if you just walk in and get a room you can expect to pay a lot more.

We already have a great deal on plane tickets and I thought if we would be able to get a better deal on the hotel rates that we would have some extra spending money while we are there.  So we have been going online to see if there are any promotion code that we can use to get a cheaper nights stay.

So far, we’ve been very successful at finding MGM Grand promotion codes and Mirage promotion codes but we haven’t been able to decide which one we would like to stay at.  They’re both fine hotels and it might end up that we both nights at each one of them.

We are going to sleep on it and make her decision tomorrow.  Though the trip is still far away I feel a lot better knowing that we almost have everything set up so that we can enjoy our trip and not be stressed out about it.

Since my father had his accident and became partially paralyzed, he would go out twice per month to go buy office supplies such as pens, paper and anything else that he needed for the day to day operations of their business.  But, since the accident, he has been forced to order everything online and he has been spending more on buying supplies than before (thanks to the shipping) and he has been looking for a way to save himself some money.

I suggested that he try using an IE coupon toolbar that would allow him to see if there are coupons available for the store that he ordered from online.  I helped him install it and left it up to him if he was going to use it or not.

It turns out that there were some office supply coupons available, and provided he orders enough product, he pays less than he used to.  I think that I am his favorite son now

The one thing that I have to say about my employment history is that it isn’t boring.  I am not ashamed to admit that I have worked at a large number of companies over the past 10 years.  Even though I may have worked at many different companies, they have all been in the roofing industry and that has given me a diversified set of skills.

I started out at 16 working at a roofing Bristol RI company and work there for about three years.  It was at this point in my life where I learned that I truly enjoyed working with my hands.  I wasn’t fired from the job, but rather the company shut down.

I spent the next five years working at a flat roofing Bristol RI company.  This was a nice change as instead of working solely on residential properties, I spent a lot of time working on commercial buildings.  There is just something truly exciting when he went to work on a roof 20 stories above ground.

I moved on from there to work for a commercial roofing Bristol RI company and that is where I am today.  I still enjoy working on high-rises and very much appreciate the fact that I never have to work on residential houses.

The past 10 years and been very educational and am interested to see how many new jobs I will do over the next 10.

My cousin called me asking if he had left his Zune car charger in my car. He was missing it and he knew he was going to be in big trouble if he didn’t find it. It was reasonably new and he had been told that he had better take care of it. You see, he is not the most responsible person in the world.

Not wanting him to get into trouble, I offered to loan him my Zune travel charger until he found his. I told him that his mom would not know the difference, but she would certainly notice if he came home without either.

It was kind of funny because she ended up buying him a new Zune dock cable to reward him for taking such good car of his things. He never did find his charger, but he ordered a new one without her ever finding out.

When my husband was transferred from his job in Saskatoon to Toronto, we decided to buy a house. Up to that point, we had always been renting, but we figured it was time to own something ourselves. It was a big step and we had a lot to learn.

One of the things we really needed to do was to find home insurance. We had previously only had tenant insurance and we did not know that there was such a difference between that and home insurance. For one thing, the home insurance quote was substantially more expensive.

I do not know if it was just the home insurance Toronto that was so costly or if it was home insurance period. As I said, we had never owned before. But, we eventually got everything worked out and are all settled in our new home. Besides the occasional bouts of homesickness, everything is going great.

One of the biggest challenges our company faces is that the competition could get wind of what we are working on as well as find out about our customers.  We have taken as many precautions as possible to prevent it, but unfortunately it still happens.  We have tracked the culprit down to the lack of voice encryption that we have on our cell phones.

After asking our cell phone carrier about mobile phone encryption, they really didn’t have any answers for me.  Undaunted, I decided to look online to see what was available.

After much searching, I was able to find some gsm encryption software that would work with our phones.  I ordered licenses for each one of them, and hopefully this will get rid of all our problems of our private conversations getting out.

If the new software isn’t the answer to the problem, I might have to dig deeper - we might just happen to have a mole in our ranks.
