Shopping Based on Recommendations from Friends

Posted By admin on October 8, 2008 @ 7:00 pm

I would have to say that I’m a cautious shopper and that I don’t usually try something without first consulting my friends. You see, I believe that their opinions are very important in that they help me to pick out the best products on the market based on their experiences that they have shared with me.

For example, when I decided that I was looking for the best coffee maker and best coffee pot on the market, I knew that I would have to ask my friends for their opinions so that I would have some basis to compare with the advice given to me by the sales clerk in the store. I just want to make sure that I was as educated as possible as to which were the best coffee makers on the market so that I would make the best decision I came to my purchase.

I also find that getting opinions of others helps you recognize when the sales clerk either doesn’t know what they’re talking about or is flat out lying to you. I realize that most sales clerks are honest, but having a warning system to advise me if something isn’t quite right is invaluable when shopping.

So next time you’re in the market to buy something new, ask your friends for their recommendations in the usually you will buy a good product the first time.

Better Than All the Rest

When I asked my future wife to marry me I knew that I was going to go through one of the most important events of my life. Besides the fact that I loved the girl deeply, I wanted to show her how much I truly loved her through the care and attention that I would give to the wedding planning.

Now be the first admit that I’m no wedding planner, but any there are some simple things that I could do and suggest to make our wedding one of the best that has ever been. I figured that the key was to pay attention to the little details such as picking out a custom aisle runner and those little details would come together to make a wonderful wedding.

After phoning around to number wedding stores in our area, I learned that most of them didn’t have any idea as to what an aisle runner was. No, I didn’t make it up, so instead I decided to go online to see what I could find.

Thankfully there was a number of custom aisle runners available from a handful of websites and I was able to find one that truly represent what I felt about this girl.

Even now, almost 5 years later, people still talk about how amazing our wedding really was.
