#1 Join an affiliate program. There are so many people out there willing to pay you to promote their product. You can join an affiliate program and promote it through classified ads, forums and blog posts, or if you have one, your own website.

#2 Sell tangible products online. You can use sites like Amazon or Ebay to sell physical products. They charge a slight fee for listing your products, or a fee when you sell. The advantage is that you get to take part in their traffic. If you have your own site sometimes this can be better. You can always find a wealth of suppliers by looking for wholesale on Google. It may be a good idea to register a business name and get a tax id number so you can buy actual wholesale products.

#3 Start an article website and make money from advertising. This is very popular. If you know a lot about a topic you can build a content based site and add Google Adsense or a similar program to it, if people click the ads you get paid. Pay special attention to search engine optimization techniques so that you can draw a large amount of traffic.

#4 Paid Survey Sites. This is not my favorite, but a lot of people do it. I think you can make more money spending your time doing other things, but if you want some easy money there are sites out there that will pay you to take surveys. Look for articles and stuff promoting these. Don’t buy into a program that offers paid surveys. The sites are free, look for them and sign up, don’t sign up for a program and pay to have them give you a list of free sites.

#5 Start a subscription site. This is my favorite option, I wish I had more ideas. If you can get users to sign up to visit your site or be a member monthly you can make a lot of money easily. Maybe develop software or find an unlimited service that you can resell.
