Facial Analysis- Whats the Risk in ignoring it?

The first and foremost step in facial skin care is getting a facial analysis. However this phase is often disregarded by many of us.

Below is a short article about my pal Gina. And needless to say, she also didnt see the importance of a facial analysis. Therefore she struggled (like most of us) with her facial skin. However she was able to come out on top in the end.

To be honest Gina was a vain person. She was always wrapped up in her self and her looks. She would even spend hours in the bathroom applying facial cleansers, toners and moisturizers.

Furthermore, Gina also kept out of the sun, ate balance diets and said no to cigarettes and alcohol. But to her surprise the results she was getting didnt meet her expectations.

Instead of achieving soft and supple facial skin, all Gina got was tightness, dryness and blisters.

Am I doing something wrong? Gina was perplexed. Maybe if I changed to other brand named products I would get better results

So she turned on her television and looked at the beauty ads. She wrote down the different products and brands she saw and went out to buy them.

She bought the most expensive and popular products. She believed that the higher the cost, the better a product will work on her skin.

Now what do you think occurred next? Did Ginas new approach to skin care solve her problems?

Sad to say, but no. She still had skin care problems. Only this time she also had a collection of expensive, once-used cosmetics.

Gina thought that she would never have beautiful skin. And she felt like giving up.

But this was where I stepped in to give some advice.

First I enquired about her skin type. And exactly as I thought, Gina didnt know.

So I went into detail about the 5 major skin types which are oily, dry, sensitive, combination (both oily and dry) and normal. Then at my request, Gina took a facial analysis.

And so it happened. Gina found out that her skin was sensitive. And that the products she had been using were inappropriate (they were irritating her facial skin).

Gina now understands how to get the most out of her sensitive skin. And shes making calculated choices when it comes to choosing products and treatments.

And her experience backs up my first announcement. That is, getting a skin analysis is the basis of skin care. Overlooking this first step can lead to failure.
