Birmingham, England’s second largest city by population, has seen a major increase in the number of people taking vacations there. With such an immense population the city has an amazing selection of the finest entertainment complexes, venues, visitor attractions and the like. Besides this the city has a great deal more to interest tourists, such as the important industrial past and a number of splendid parks, gardens and country parks.

Over the last few years more and more tourists are taking a pet along with them on vacation if you happen to be such a person or you are considering such a break then you might already be aware that accommodation which allows pets are uncommon and finding a place to book can be a nightmare of a job. For this reason I have written a list of pet friendly hotels and guest houses in Birmingham.

The Macdonald Burlington Hotel

If you are looking for pet friendly accommodation which is centrally located then it should please you to learn that the Macdonald Burlington Hotel is a four star hotel which is roughly two minutes from New Street Rail Station.  Found next to a car park (NCP) the hotel has over a hundred rooms.

Britannia Hotel
The Britannia is a 3 star rated hotel found opposite  New Street Rail Station with a little less than two hundred rooms right in the centre of Birmingham.

Radisson Sas
The Radisson Sas Hotel has been rated at three stars roughly a couple of minutes walk the centre of the city. Five hundred metres away from New Street Rail Station. The Radisson Sas has a little over 200 rooms and does not charge for you sharing the room with a pet.

The Ibis Birmingham City Centre
The city centre Ibis is a two star hotel. With just over one hundred and fifty rooms this hotel does not make any extra charges for having pets.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel
The Crowne Plaza is a four star hotel. Having two hundred and eighty four rooms the Crowne Plaza is situated on Holliday Street a few minutes from the city centre of Birmingham.

Malmaison
The Malmaison is a 3 star hotel, minutes from Birmingham city centre, it has 189 rooms.

Ibis (Holloway Circus)
The Holloway Circus Ibis Hotel offers two star accommodation. With only fifty one rooms it is vital that you understand that this Ibis hotel says in its hotel policies that may make additional charges for pets.

The Etap Hotel
The Etap is a pet friendly hotel. With two hundred and fifty inexpensive rooms the Etap Hotel is situated approximately half a mile from the exact centre of the city.

Novotel
The Novotel Hotel is rated at four stars located on Edward Street with one hundred and forty eight rooms.

The Paragon
The Paragon offers 3 star accommodation with 250 rooms just a little more than half a mile from the exact centre of the city.
